I see less obvious problem with sounds in this game. Most of the builds want high attack/cast speed and there are not really alot of builds that deal slow and heavy hits, spamming is pretty much always better. When you cast a lot of skills sounds get messy.
1 skills audio - i do not have an opinion, they are fine by me
2 Enemy audio - the t rex was well done, maybe an update to rare monsters that would tip us about their special attack, something to make us recognize the attack even when things get chaotic
3 All characters voice line - but not a priority imo
The Silk Cocoon sound and the Loot Lizard sound seem very similar, if not exactly the same to me. Please make them distinctly different as sound queues often dictate detours I take in an echo.
I really enjoy most of the skill sounds. I think the crisp sound of Smite might be my favorite.
Thank you. Keep up the great work!
Sounds that lack depth of impact in general, mainly melee and bow hits. In skills in general and in the aforementioned “physical” hits, I hear few variations, as if there were few sounds in the library and therefore they repeat themselves too easily.
1:
●Skill
I feel the Primalist’s Warcry lacks impact.
No matter how many times I hear it, it doesn’t sound like a voice that inspires oneself. ![]()
2:
●Enemy voice
Some people seem to dislike it, but Peasonally, I love the Cultists voices.
Hearing them laugh joyfully makes me smile too anytime. ![]()
●BGM
I hope to listen these music again during ACT, somewhere.
Previous BGM for Wengari fortress
Previous BGM for Lagon battle.
Previous BGM for Majasa battle.

In fact, I satisfied with most of the sounds.
However, for improvement…
3:
●Generally
I often see feedback saying the sound effects feel light.![]()
Sometimes, I think so too.
I guess sound effect’s bass is heared subdued than other ARPG’s SE, at least for me.
Of course I didn’t examine about detail those sound data myself, so I’m not sure if my opinion is really true.
But I guess that would be nice to boost more bass for SE, possibly.
For example, when shapeshifting to the Spriggan form, I can feel the depth of the sound. It’s really good.
However, it’s difficult to feel depth of the sound for all skills of the Spriggan form such as a Spirit thorns.
Summon thorn totem skill, and other many skills, too.
I feel those skills seem to contain almost no bass sound. ![]()
And I think that’s one reason why the sound is feeled as light… I don’t know.
I think the actual impression changes not only with sounds but also with animations,
so I’m really looking forward to the animation updates in Season 4.
●Loot filter
Ideally, please allow me to adjust the volume of the loot filters and the UI separately. ![]()

What skills audio do you think needs to be reworked and why?
To me, many skill sound too similar, especially the melee skills. Hard to explain, but they have somehow a squelchy, splashy feel to it, which makes them feel like you’re hitting an enemy with a wet noodle. Instead they less have a crunchy, punchy, bone-breaking sound to it. With more bass and lower frequencies. A skill sound I really like however is Cathonic Fissure.
Also in other games, the sounds have more room and 3d feel to it. Like more announced directonality. -
What enemy audio do you find most interesting and why?
Their cries when they die horribly
The fat prophets blowing themselfs up while laughing makes me chuckle. -
Do you have any other feedback about Last Epoch’s audio you’d like to share?
The main menu title music is good, don’t get me wrong, but we have been hearing it for so many years at this point. I can’t stand it anymore. AHHH EHH OOO IIIIIIII OOOOHHHH… argh.
What you need to rework is not audio but character model
No audio is joyful when character model looks like that… no monetization will work as player don’t spend money on MTX on character with a triangle shape
When there are no even 3D models for uniques… it’s ain’t 2011… complete game and FINISH BASIC STUFF LIKE UNIQUE 3D MODELS FOR UNIQUES.
Anorectic primalist which is from “dinosaur” era should looks like barbarian in diablo 4 and not some anorectic, unhealthy, unwashed guy…
make character models appealing and “fantasy”. Most people now looks more appealing to eye, healthier and so on than those “heroes”. Im more muscled than have better T-shape than primalist. His build broke immersion with his archetype. No way he survive with dinosaurs with that anorectic body.
your prorities is bad… and wrong. spending money on the wrong stuff and not investing into better models, mtx to get the money.
Can you please rework the bow puncture sound? It’s the only skill I’ve actively avoided using solely due to audio or visuals.
About the class shouts: I really like this kind of thing. Different voice lines for different characters are one of the things that give us a glimpse of their personalities. The current frequency in which they speak their lines does not bother me…
…But what bothers me is how the Mage only has a single voice line. The Rogue has a few, but the Mage´s “Fools! Fools! Fools!” gets old really fast. More variety would make me happier than just hearing the characters less often.

Sentinels “Shield Bash” skill and Mages “Mana Strike” skill сold convertion needs more love with audio I think, the first some hits an ear, second sounds like like standart lightning version.
-
I dont see any problem with enemy sound and this is
enough -
I think a game needs some more epic and battle music or more agressive sound in general because all sound in the game is too sublimely calm

P.S. continues to the first point…i realized each skill convertation dont have unique sound at all, I thing they deserve that
