My build requires to hit rare or boss enemies. Hitting white or blue monsters isn’t helpful. (Animate Weapon build)
Problem:
It’s sometimes really hard to tell where exactly the rare monsters are on the screen/within a pack.
Current state:
There is an option to show enemy health bars which is awesome, because it also shows the health bars of enemies you have not damaged yet.
Proposed change:
Add an option for colored health bars which will color the health bar based on the monsters rarity. Example with 1 boss, 1 rare, 1 magic and 2 normal monsters. (colors are obviously terrible)
I think changing the color of the health bar itself would be a bit weird and confusing, but it’d definitely be cool to have something that clearly identifies the monster rarity, maybe adjacent to or underneath them.
The one on the lower picture has a skull on the healthbar.
Colour them or have like 3 skulls for super rare, 2 skulls for rare, 1 skull for major, and nothing for common.
At this point I already know it’s a rare monster. The point is we want to tell before hovering over the monster.
But there is another problem too. Sometimes you hover over a rare and it doesn’t even show the rare nameplate, but your forged weapon because your fw is over or under the rare:
It’s confusing because I used rainbow colors from the MS paint color palette and the health bars have no gradient, shadow, bevel effect etc. but I also have to say a circle a rune below their feet sounds super dope as well.
