Recommendation: Make the search function better by making the “category” sections collapsible.
When searching for Idols with specific affixes, my current options are to either do a “global” search in my stash which then shows what tabs everything that has the affix is in (as in the picture), or search in each tab individually (very tedious). Collapsible Categories in Stash Search
The thought is that if the stash search categories in the “global” search could be collapsed it would just make it cleaner and easier. If all I want is Idols, then I should be able to collapse the Uniques, General, etc. that I have for the other categories.
Another option would be to make the separate categories to have a “global” search function within them so resolve this.
This is a very minor issue and I know you have much bigger fish to fry, but this would be nice to have in the future.
Sorry if it wasn’t clear enough. Using the search box on the top right is what I’m talking about, that’s the “global” search for all tabs. When you use that, all tabs that have an item with the attribute you are looking for is listed as in the picture.
If I’m searching for only Idols with “Elemental Resistance” then I don’t care about equipment so I would want to be able to either collapse the tabs in categories that I don’t want or use a similar “global” search for only the tab category that interests me at the time.
As someone nearing 100 stash tabs I could certainly see a use for this. However, something I’d prefer even more is improved search functionality. I assume they’re already working on such a system for the Bazaar because otherwise you’d never find anything in what I figure is going to be hundreds of thousands of items to sift through. Hopefully something similar to w/e is being developed for that system is brought over to the stash system.
But yes, collapsible stash categories within the expandable tab that facilitates global stash search would be a welcome addition as well.
Oh, I wholly agree. I think the entire improved search function is something that is definitely higher priority and I know others have mentioned that before and, like you, believe they are likely already working on that.
