This could be just me, but it really does feel like Cold damage dealing enemies are dealing much more damage than other enemies. For example, this Wengari mob riding on a big mount (Wengari Vanguard I believe it’s called) does a briefly telegraphed Cold attack which leaves a puddle behind. This kills even my tankiest builds within half a second, whereas I could take any other form of damage for much longer. The big Ice Golems and their Avalanche attacks seem ridicilously strong as well. Am I the only one noticing this? Not calling for a nerf, but it feels weird when specific non-elite enemies deal a dozen times more damage than the rest.
I agree that there is some disparity in the level of danger of certain abilities.
But things like the Rime Giant Avalanche are in a good spot IMO.
I rather would have more skills being buffed to a similar level.
Regarding the other ice attack you are referring to: alot of enemy skills do DoT damage, which excludes alot of your defensive layers like Armour, Block Glancing Blow and Dodge. This makes them significantly more dangerous, because only a few defensive layers are protecting against those.
