I find the CoF Prophecy targetting “Unique Armor” somewhat deceiving : I regularly misinterpret it as “Unique Body Armor”, especially when target farming the latter, but ending myself with drops of all sorts of armor pieces (helmets, gloves, boots, …). The fact that the associated prophecy icon is the body armor’s one contributes only more to the confusion.
I would suggest to at least change the label for something more explicit like “Unique Armor Piece” or “Unique Protection Piece”, the same way as the “Unique Jewelry” can translate to either ring or amulet.
Yeah, that’s fair. Not sure what it could be changed to to make it less confusing though. Unless they could have it animated & rotate through all the armour icons.
To be fair, I’ve also seen that in the past and simply associated with body armour. If it had some more text like suggested it would at least stand out and you’d easily see at a glance that it’s not a body armour prophecy.
That would be a nice option. But a simple one would be to use the asterisk icon they use on the general unique echos.
You have to really pay attn to the wording, it’s the same with Unique Jewelry prophecies. They would have to come up with new icons to represent “generic” armor and “generic” jewelry for these purposes.
The rotating icon @Llama8 mentioned would be one way, but I fear it “could” induce extra lag that they are working to reduce instead. It’s a great suggestion to move the thoughts in the right direction though.
After 3 cycles of this annoying me consistently, I wanted to complain about this but there was already this topic lmao.
Why are these so common? I’m rolling prophecies at rank 12/max with TWO body armor lenses and I’m still getting “Armor” prophecies far more than anything else. I swear, just being able to block these dumb “Armor” prophecies would massively increase your chances of getting what you actually want.
To that end, why do these even exist? These are just pure filler. No one wants these. I get diluting the pool to make it so you don’t always get what you want, I guess. But if they have to exist…
At least change the icon. Change it to something generic. I’m farming body armors prophecies in every cycle and this is starting to drive me insane. I HAVE to mouseover these pests just to check if they might actually be what I want. Why is the icon the same? Aaaaa
