Something I haven’t been sure about: CoF sends you to all sorts of activities that you might not otherwise want to be doing at endgame. Campaign is obviously pretty worthless outside of going to complete prophecies, but then there are things like Dungeons and Arena, which aren’t going to necessarily have the rewards you need at that time, such as blessings, specific echo rewards, etc. Plus in general, if the prophecy asks you to go do something that requires some work to even get to the conditions, like needing to get through the earlier tiers of dungeons/arena or needing to kill a boss at a certain corruption level in a timeline you haven’t done much of, it takes even longer to see the fruits of the prophecy.
So my question is: How worthwhile is it to go out of your way to complete prophecies? You can only block so many activities, especially if you want to take advantage of other lenses and obviously the more you have to roll, the more you waste favor. So when is it right to take a prophecy you won’t naturally complete just by doing the monos you were gonna do anyway?
It really depends on your playstyle. Ultimately, what you want is to use the ones that increase the cost a lot and also increase the rewards. This makes it so that the reroll cost is negligible, so you can roll for one where you were going to be playing anyway.
I personally dislike constantly having to stop to reroll prophecies and go all over the place, so I find this is the best strategy for me.
I for one only accept prophecies that I will complete by just doing what I’m already doing.
I never take arenas, almost never take dungeons, and only monoliths with low corruptions. Like if I’m sitting at 150 corruption I’ll never grab one that requires 250 and it will probably be from some other timeline anyways.
I really only take ones that say kill some rares, exiled mages, or kill the boss in a timeline.
Then always get the lenses that doubles the rewards and how many times it can be completed.
The prophecies need a major overhaul. It’s crazy to me that some of them require 200+ corruption in random timelines. Almost nobody farms every time line. They just stick to one or two. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Can/should you run 3 of those together? Or does each one only work once and if so, what is the 3rd one that’s good to use?
They are cumulative. So you can add all 3 and they will cumulatively increase both the cost and the reward.
You could double one of them or put in a lense of what you’re after. Like if you’re looking for an exalted sword or unique in the weapon one put a sword.
