Hello! been playing alot Last epoch some even before release, we are playing usually in Squad that consistent of finnish players, so we prefer talking in finnish in party and Whispers. Tho we’ve been super annoyed over Code of Conduct, it Deleted messages that uses normal words that ain’t curse or bad words in any country. (yes we even checked) “joo se” “yeh that” is one example of banned “sentence” and we don’t get why, nothing that gets deleted is against CoC, i read that thing few times already. i wish yall would fix it, we’ve never in 20 year gaming career gotten attacked by code of conduct like that, we understand actual curses etc, even tho i could even say that i dont understand those either due nature of game having Profanity filter that’s useless since profanity filter is already enabled by force. but yeh that isn’t issue. issue is that normal words specially in finnish are getting deleted for no reason even when words or sentences aren’t offensive in any country or break CoC. Also i want to say that it was ALOT worse before release it’s been abit better. but if i write over 5 words it usually gets deleted. so we speak word by word… instead of actually writing sentences.
Just put in a profanity filter. It’s an online game, if someone writes stuff i don’t like… i can block them.
No need to play the Nanny for all of us.
…did you actually read the OP? I think they’re asking for less restrictions, because their Finnish messages are getting erroneously censored by the overzealous server-side chat filter, even with the client-side profanity filter off.

i got not single bad thing to say bout the game but Code of conduct is terribly aggressive towards words that english, even tho CoC itself doesn’t have anything agains’t it. and i checked most of the words it bans, it works abit weird since they are not words in any other country or mature language in anykind, or Profanity. Also we had this one small sentence that i couldn’t write off but my friend did that was abit weird.
If it makes you feel any better, even we English speakers see our sentences randomly censored I have to talk like a three-year-old with a speech impediment if I want my messages to get through… meanwhile the gold spam bots are inventing entirely new alphabets to sell their stuff 
I think this is a problem with their localization systems, rather than anything related to CoC, eh?
My husband is forced to play in english because he can understand some things better than in portuguese, even not being fluent in english at all.
They still have a long way to go til these things are fixed… Even in english there are terrible wording within nearly every system in the game, making some things incredibly confusing to understand.
Seems I wasn’t clear enough:
I meant get rid of this “code of conduct” and replace it with the standard of the industry.
Opt-In profanity filter and block list. We are adults not kids and last epoch is a game not a parent.
And after my 3rd message got eaten today by this CoC I quit the game for today. Looking at the player numbers and the fact others are annoyed I would urge the team to get rid of this rather quick.
Ah, im unsure where problem lies at, reason im blaming it to CoC is the fact that it says that Code of conduct has deleted the message ingame. But yeh could be localization issue.
Yeh i know how u feel. there’s alot people who feel like they need to write like 3 years old like one dude already said here. it’s frustrating that’s why we had to change into writing to each other in party/Whispers word by word instead of actual sentences, there’s definitely something to fix out there, I don’t remember what i said in original post and i’m too lazy to read it again but i might have said that it feels abit weird that game has a profanity filter option but disablin and enabling it doesnt change anything since Code of conduct will take care of deleting even normal messages.
