Cocoon Items ***Suggestion****

Hello please consider making a stackable stash for cocooned items by base type. Kind of like stacked keys or stacked woven echos.

The way i see this working in my mind is you click on a cocoon item and it auto deposits into a stack. When you want to try and roll some cocoon rng luck to go to stash and right click the desired item for the base type. And then the system will drop a random valid unique on the ground.

My reason for this is two fold

  1. personally cocoon items are just an annoyance and not worth the clicks.
  2. the whole attraction of cocoon items to me is doing a bunch of items at once. If they become a stackable item u can save 4 later and not take up valuable stash pages it become more attractive. As i can just play for a day (say 8 hours) and get a bunch of cocooned uniques (lets say 40 cocooned uni rings) then just before i end the days grind i can try my luck by quickly dropping a bunch of rings.

Or they just remove them. Currently they bring nothing to the itemization table.
There’s next to no point to save stacks of uniques to save for later. Plus you can always do a run of Rune of Ascendance with the gambler. There you can at least choose the desired item type.

Both RoA and Cocoon items (imo) are in a bad state.

As for RoA its worse then Cocoon items (IMO) as u have to find a sac base item pick it up transfer to forge select RoA, click ascend, look at it then move to inv then to stash, or drop on ground and repeat for each one. (also ive suggested allowing u to keep ascending same item till u take it out if not happy with result in prev post(providing u have enough RoA)).

This suggestion is basically a passive “loot explosion” depending how fast u click  .

I’m not sure how the stacking would work since you need to click on each one to see what it is, if you bothered picking it up at all. Either you click once and they all burst out, or you get the ability to separate them to click them individually.

I completely agree with #1, they are just an annoyance since in my experience they have never given me anything better than my garbage drops anyway, and I thought they were supposed to give you a better chance at LP, but they aren’t.

I don’t get cocooned items often enough to really get any value personally in the stacking and then getting the loot explosion.

I do agree that they could be much better. Since they are supposed to be something special, I would say the chances of getting something worthwhile should be much higher than it is now.
