Co-op Monolith lack of Combined Progression

Hello,

I have been playing Last Epoch in a group 75% or more of my time and something that I have noticed that is relatively tedious to work around is monoliths progression (normal before empowered.) The echo quests have to be done once per person even if enough stability excluding the boss meaning a group of 4 all have enough stability to do the quests but the person who loads is it the only one who gets the progression. I think this should change to everyone gets the progression.

Secondly, on empowered monoliths in a group same concept but instead when everyone in the group has enough stability to do the boss it completes for everyone and everyone gets loot / blessing, but the important piece and one of most important for end game is the orobyss ticker only goes up for whoever loaded the boss fight echo quest. Again, I think this should give one orobyss to all members that have enough stability because otherwise you have to fight the boss 4x and make sure everyone is at different stability points to get the orobyss tick of their own and that simply just isn’t very efficient.

Lastly, I know you did a memory leak update recently, but it appears some are still having issues and I haven’t quite put a pin on it, but I can play with a party with a void knight / balliista falconer and outside of random short lag spikes runs smooth, but I play just me and bleed warlock the warlock has unplayable lag. He has uninstalled, reinstalled, reset game 100s of times, reset PC, etc. all the troubleshooting we can find. Has tried multiple settings video setups that are on youtube from content creators to see if it was a settings thing. The only thing that makes sense is memory leak, his FPS will be comfortable until we load into an echo coop and then it will go unplayable. However, if he loads in solo he has no issues whatsoever on any echoes including the spots of major density.

Thanks for the all hard work you are doing the game is working great for me, just some tedious coop things I’m sure you already may be addressing, but in case you weren’t I wanted to mention it! I would be happy to provide a video of what I am saying for the empowered example if you need it! (already past all normal’s on my 3 characters so not gonna get those again.)

Coop progression is a must. Echo quest should be marked completed for all qualified party members. My friends and I were quite dissapointed it is not happening. Luckily empowered monoliths do not require optional quests.

Agree.
A year ago my friends and I started playing this game because a patch with multiplayer finally came out. Playing in a group turned out to be so annoying that it was the main reason we stopped. To be honest, I was hoping that this would be fixed before release. We waited for release and started playing again and the problem is still there. It’s disappointing.

upd. Now empowered monoliths do not require optional quests, this is very cool (I don’t remember how it was a year ago). But I agree with the comment below, the problem with the level of corruption for different party members is still relevant.

Correct but the problem on empowered is if you all do boss same time with same stability only one person gets orobyss things to increase their corruption and its the person who starts it so all the grinding you are doing you arent getting any corruption built up like you should be

Yeah. This is absolutely killing the game for me and my wife who often game together. It’s beyond goofy having to do every quest twice when doing monoliths. We love the game otherwise, but this is massively takes the wind out of our sails.

Yes, all sorts of memory leaks are still there but i’m sure they are actively working on it. For me, the problem is still often that you freeze on infinite loop load screen when you are in a party. Happens often.

Co-op progression is definitely a must and hope it is high priority. Yes, I have noticed the same problem but wasn’t sure, glad you posted it and confirmed it. Written it way better than I would’ve.
