at first I want to say thank you for doing such great work. I follow you since the early stages of the game and was looking quite a long time for the full release.
There are 2 things in my Head i want to share with you and maybe I get a respond on this thread.
Since Warlock and Falconer are such a huge step up in comparison to the other spezalisations. If you see the many interactions between Skill Passives and Character Passives.
Are you planning on overhauling the other spezalisations?
Many of you guys probably played Diablo 2 (Ressurection). It was a genre defining Game back in the days. One of the best Parts in D2 was the Mercenary. You could equip him and do whole builds around him.
Do you see a chance of implementing such a mercenary system (as part of a season or permanent) or is it completly off?
I am looking forward to the 21th! Thx you so much and maybe you can spare some time and gimme a short answer.
Iāve never even see it discussed, but it does intrigue me. I wouldnāt mind seeing it done in a fashion similar to how Everquest implemented them: Different specializations (healer, melee dps, range/caster dps and tank), separate mercenary gear to equip on them and they gain their own XP ā at a significantly lesser rate than the player ā which allows you to buff their effectiveness, hp, mana, etc. Kind of like how we would assign passive/skill points per level.
Iāl admit, I donāt know how they would figure into the game, but I wouldnāt be totally against them being introduced at some point. As long as they arenāt as simplistic as D3ās mercenaries were. Iād like to see them be an investment, and used (which type you use)/geared with some through process in mind.
Maybe for you. I hated it to be forced into running arround with stupid AI pet that was mandatory to play the game. I hate it with all my gut if something like this is forced upon me. If the take a van helsing approach and you get passives bonuses if you donāt summon your merc Iām fine. But having that merc with that runeword weapon to have a good time with hte game Iām instantly out and write of the game as a waste of money.
