Chat SPAM, big problem!

Hello! I would like to talk about an extremely annoying issue that has been happening in the game. Perhaps I am one of the oldest players at 53 years old; I have played all sorts of games and witnessed many fail due to what is called “BOT.” The problem is not related to the BOT farming maps all day, which is indeed annoying, but that’s not the issue. The problem is the gold selling SPAM in the CHAT. It becomes so irritating for many in a way that they end up leaving the game or closing the chat, limiting interaction with real players.

While the developers have addressed server problems, and the game is great now, there are still some issues, but everything takes time. However, the chat problem has become a monster. As a big fan of the game, I want it to grow and succeed over time. You urgently need to find a solution to this, even if it means banning accounts like many other games have done.

I apologize for my English; I am Brazilian and did my best. Thank you for the great game you’ve created.

If you want to talk spam, this is be far not the first topic to be posted on gold spammers in chat. Please search the Forum for your issue before creating a new topic on the same subject.

Require all accounts to have completed the campaign before typing in global chat. prob solved.

I made a post “Will there be a chat filter vs RMT offers” a while back and ppl recommend to block those spamming eejits.
Tbh I would also like to have the option ingame to report them so they can be banned.
For now I have like 10 of them blocked and I expect more.

Blocking them is all you can do for now.

That wont keep them away. Seen that in other games.

It might not, but we need an rtm report and auto ban with a number of reports or merch faction is gonna go to the gutter fast because of inflation.

“auto ban with a number of reports” isnt gonna happen either coz it can backfire by banning actual players.

When toxicity levels rise, and believe me every game has toxic players who like to bully others, they would just spam report other players just coz of their gamer tag or just coz they made first place in the leaderboards.

If reporting is gonna happen there should be an actual person deciding if the reported person is getting a ban.

bad idea, a lot of the chat is new players asking questions
and gold spam bots would complete campaign anyways for MG access and mono gold farm

Die Leute haben sich aber kein spiel gekauft um den ganzen Tag mit blockieren beschäftigt zu sein. In der zeit wo du einen blockierst wurden 1000 neue Accounts erstellt.
