There seems to be an issue since this new patch has come about
Chat from people will appear as normal but after a short while I can only see chat messages if I press enter to view the history
It seems the controller is the issue as ive tested playing without a controller and messages will continue to appear, once I start using a control theres nothing more, ive tried various things and this has been in effect since the last chat patch, and its new as ive played on a controller since patch 0.7 or something
