This has been for a while but since i started playing the game i think around patch 0.6, everytime i go into the game the chat is all active and such, but after i go into mono once or twice the chat disables and the only thing i can do is write in the text field, it wont send the message or show me what other people write, i can only see when system messeges pop up (ex.
