Character screen stats not being affected by passives

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I’ve noticed that certain passives on my Primalist Beastmaster passive tree don’t update/affect the stats on the character screen. Specifically, points in the Envenom node (grants you & your companions 10% additional chance per point to poison on hit with melee attacks) don’t change the poison chance stat on the other stats in the character screen. I suspect this figure is only picking up non-conditional poison chance (such as that crafted onto gear) as it clearly is not including the conditional (“with melee attacks”) poison chance from the Envenom node.

Additionally, Circle of Life’s life gain on kill doesn’t appear on the stats screen, this is non-conditional (unless the wording on the node is wrong & the life on kill is while aspect of the shark is active) so should appear on the defensive stats screen.

The expected behavior is that Envenom won’t show on the character sheet. Envenom specifies melee attacks, but the character sheet displays your global poison chance (not specific to any particular tag or skill). We do recognize that it’s helpful to see all of the effects on your character in one place, and that’s something we want to improve.

Circle of Life should show on the sheet, I’ll look into it.

I think that something you should add at some point (for me it would be asap but I’m an accountant & like numbers) would be a stats tab for each skill. PoE does it quite well.

In terms of where to add it, if you removed the “additional defences” section of the character stats (& moved those numbers over to the “defence stats” tab) you could move the entire tab section up a bit (to where the block protection/glancing blow/ward retention text is) which would give you enough space to add in the additional defences lines in the defences tab and then add in a separate section for skills where the block chance/dodge/stun line currently is.
A benefit of adding the skill stats to the character page is that the player would be able to make changes to their passives and see the effect on the skills in real time without having to switch over to a different screen. Unfortunately unless you add the skills data to the “skills & specialisations” page, the player would still have to go to a different screen to see what the changes to the skill are when they add skill points. You could also add the skill data to the skill’s specialisation page which would require squishing the skill tree to one side.
