Character moves to Item tag during collection, not to item pile

I dont know what has changed but for some weird reason you cannot pick up all the loot without moving your character. It used to be that you click on the item tag and your character moved to the pile of items. This made it possible to just click all item tags and collect them very quickly. I could even collect items during warpathing.

Now, if you click on the tag, the character moves towards the tag. and if it is close enough to the tag (not the pile on the floor) it collects the item. This is horrible. E.g. a few prophecies drop. you get about 50 Items and want to pick them up. You click the first tag, the character moves. But as your character moves, all item tags also move. so you click on the second item tag, your character moves again. Even worse: When you click from a bit away - which happens a lot when you get loads of items, you have to click on the item tag several times. Why? Because the item tag is moving relative to your character and when you reach your movement position you are not close enough to the tag to pick it up and you have to click the tag again. sometimes even 3 or 4 times.

This makes the game really tiring to play, especially for CoF, where you drop quite a lot of items with prophecies. To be honest, I cannot play further until this issue is resolved.

you just drop all items on one spot. but you have to… well, watch yourself…

There is a button to turn on/off loot tags completely. When u use it it will make new pile of items so you dont need to walking around to collect them. I think u should try it, because this one option fixed this exact issue for me. GL&HF! :slight_smile:

Thank you for your reply but that is not the issue. As you can see in the video I drop a few items at the same spot and try to pick them up. It is not like that the tags are far away (I have short tag length). But still the character moves. Even if I alt+z twice, the issue remains.

I have the same problem but was unable to understand what is wrong, the way I am able to “work around it” is by pressing enter. It seems that clicking on the item name sort of higlights it and enter works as a pickup. This is not a working solution, I am not sure what takes more time - running around trying to pick the item up or using the enter “workaround”. This is game breaking and should be checked/fixed.

I have the same issue. Patch 1.1.5 broke something, and i often have to click three or four times on an item to pick it up.
This isn’t a game-breaking bug, but still quite irritating.
Holding shift while doing the pickup to try to force the charactor to stay in place instead of moving seem to help, but that’s not a long-term solution.
