Have character death animations been implemented?
I was playing hardcore and ended up dying, only to see my character standing motionless as if nothing happened. It felt very anti-climatic after losing a character I had been playing for a few days.
Since the game is still early access, I wasn’t sure if this was because death animations just haven’t been implemented yet, or if it was a bug.
I agree. They should make it more spectacular. Like the final blow would get your hero on his knees with his arms in the air like in platoon. I’ve always wanted to see this in Diablo or Poe. Also put in a shilling shreek for extra drama.
On a second thought. Replace the shilling shreek sound with an AAAAAAAWWRRGH sound. As if the hero is gargling blood. And keep the platoon effect.
