Channeling/Movement Skills against Lagon

What I noticed when fighting some of the big bosses with such skills, especially those that are on the edge of the map, can feel really clunky.
The best example I would give is the Lagon fight. The first time I fought him I was using Warpath. It felt bad, my char would get stuck on the edge of the map while trying to damage him. It didn’t feel right but it was manageable. The second time I fought him I was using Dancing Strikes Rogue and that was when I truly realized that there is a problem. I was not able to click on the Boss or at least point the mouse in his general direction while clicking or holding dancing strikes, the same way I am able to do it against any other monster or boss in the game. I had to basically dance around, with my dancing strikes as if I am fighting a ghost in front of him, From a gameplay perspective its doable but it feels really clunky and broken.

Lagon is a special case and this issue is well know…

LE requires that you aim at the bottom of the 3d model for best targetting of a mob - this is usually fine and not an issue because you can see the whole model in normal situations.

However Lagons “bottom” half is well below him due to the environment / ledge so targetting him is very difficult and sometimes impossible for some skills as you have realised… Aiming just in front of him on the ledge is the workaround at the moment and that does work for some skills.

This issue has been around for a while… no idea when the devs will get to dealing with it, but they know about it.

It’s enough for me to know that the devs know about it and that they are probably going to fix it in the future.
“Small” things like that, can turn off newcomers to the game. The people that are here in the forums are probably people like me, we like the game, we care mostly about mechanics and endgame content, but things like that, especially in the campaign, can lose many casual players when 1.0 is released.
