Hey!
I know it’s not a bug, but still, generating shrouds with channeled Flurry is almost impossible, only way are very short, like half second, channels. Players who decided to play channeled skills (me included) want to channel until out of mana or everyone in sight are dead. Lets look on another channeled skill: Lightning Blast with Insidious Conduction. As we see there, aside of mana cost and chaining 20% of time, penalty is: halved ward on hit and -50% chance to apply ailments. Here is my suggestion how to change some passives in Bladedancer passive tree:
Veil of Night:
(6% per point) chance to gain a stack of Dusk Shroud on melee attack hit, this chance is halved for hits from channeled attacks
(3% per point) increased attack speed
similarly Perfection:
100% chance to gain a stack of Perfection on melee attack hit, this chance is halved for hits from channeled attacks
