Changing monolith reward

Let’s say you go to the monolith and you do not get a +30% item rarity, but a +30% chance to drop a item with Health affix… Then on the next +40% to drop item with vitality affix and so on… This would make the monolith soooo much funnier, finding a line with all good affixes.

At the end off a line, you could have a node that you would do not only for the loot at the end, but because you would have the perfect match of affixes, so, killing everything on the node would be a great grind.

So… something like a special path you discover in the echos that lead on from one another (without branches) and have a themed reward string that gets better drops specific to the theme as you progress down that unique path.

Sounds like a fun thing to consider for Monoliths… i.e. we all search through the tree to find specific reward types (exalted, idols, runes etc) so its not that much of a stretch to think of a “special path” that can be discovered.

I would also suggest that you get nothing from each echo on this special path - but you only get everything IF you get to the end of the path without dying (or you lose whatever reward that failed echo would have given you but you can still continue). So it motivates running a sequence of echos and the loot explosion at the end would then be more than if you run the individual nodes (like you can do right now).

Hope the devs think this is worth putting on the ideas list.

Yeah, this would make opening the ending box reward a much better thing, and since the quantity of itens on that box depends on the quantity of monsters you killed, killing everything would be more appealing
