Changes to Jelkhor's Blast Knife

It would be nice if something about Jelkhor’s Blast Knife was adjusted to make it engage better with marksmen passives. Currently it feels incredibly restrictive to try and build around this Unique due to the fact that the ability its tied to is from a passive tree that focuses around bow abilities or bow attacks.

Some of the ideas I’ve had that may streamline its use or open unique build opportunities were:

  • Make it equipable in your offhand instead of a quiver. You give up the possible stats on a quiver and would end up in some kind of ranged/melee hybrid build which could be interesting.

  • Give it a affix that makes it count as a Bow for Marksmen passives, but it can’t be dual wielded. Only allow for a Shield, Quiver or Catalyst to go into your offhand if this Dagger is equipped.

  • Just move Detonating Arrow out of Marksmen to the general Rouge ability pool.

well … another idea … equipping the dagger unlocks the skill for all rogue specs … because currently the melee detonating arrow doesn’t suite marksman at all !

I am not the biggest marksman or Rogue fan in general, but what you describe sounds exactly like the stuff, that will remove a lot of what makes the unique interesting.

Having a unique that makes you think outside the box and come up with creative ways is exactly the type of unique we need IMO.
