Can't play true offline anymore, button doesn't work

I wanted to continue playing from yesterday and when I go to true offline on steam, in that menu, the big “play offline” button just can’t be clicked (like it doesn’t respond to clicking). All the other buttons work fine (like settings or exit game), but not the one needed to play the game for some reason

Same problem on Steam deck. Only true offline.

There is a work around but it is annoying. Go online and log in and enter a character online. Then close the game and go true offline again and it works.
