I had the same issue, but it did work on a pair of boots, where I could replace intelligence with strength. I think maybe “attribute affix” means just one of intelligence, strength, dexterity or attunement.
yes you are correct. it has to be an “Attribute” Affix. just tested it because i also wasn’t able to put stuff in there unless it had one of those Affixes.
All test were done for attributes. But atm I can’t recall was it vit or not
