Can't pickup items off the ground

Installer: Steam
Version: 1.4 relase (3/26/2026)

Bug Description:

  1. rebind MOVE/INTERACT button (Settings → Gameplay → Change Input Keys)
  2. Change Move/Interact to Mouse Button 5 (something not left mouse button)
  3. Kill a monster that drops some loot
  4. Click the item using rebound move/interact button
  5. Nothing happens: Item remains on the ground, does not move to inventory

Workaround:

  1. Change move/interact to Left Mouse button

Why I’m rebinding Move/Interact:

  • Using WASD movement
  • Prefer mouse for using skills, keyboard for movement
  • Left mouse button used for main skill

yeah, latest patch broke this somehow. always played with left click as force move and for me used the F key as move and interact. it however does not pick up itmes anymore this way. only if left click is set to move/interact
