Can't pickup item/s

I was able to pick up loot and everything was working fine until I destroyed some barrels and got a legendary item drop.

After the item drop I wasn’t able to pick up this item and the highlight text didn’t appear on the item (only when I hover over the item could I see the item name).

The item is “Fighting Change” gloves.

Also after this encounter I couldn’t pick up any more items and the item text didn’t appear anymore (only if I hover the item on the ground).

You likely pressed the [Z] key by accident, which toggles between hide/show Ground Item Tooltips. Press [Z] again to show the item tooltips.
