And when finally are in game you get matchmaking error al the time

Click the Start button. 
Type Command Prompt
Right-click Command Prompt > Open as Administrator.
In the command prompt window, type ipconfig /flushdns
Press Enter.
You should see a message confirming that the DNS Resolver Cache was successfully flushed.

Try logging in again, worked for me!

My friend is having the same problem this morning. He can bring up his list of characters but gets a timeout message when he tries to play the game. He is getting very frustrated with the massive connection problems. I suggest resolving the connection problems should be top priority. Nothing else matters if people cant play the game.

Sure its frustrating, but this is a beta and online play was only added a few days ago. There will be issues - thats totally normal and should be expected.

Just play it offline until the problem is resolved… Or go have a beer/milkshake/coffee and flirt with whatever gender tickles your fancy.

I am sure the devs will get it resolved.

This is happening to me for ONLINE after having updated for Beta 0.9 = I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and cannot connect.

I erased all characters, Offline and online
and attempted to create a new character for online and it will not let me load into the game, IE it starts a map loading process but never loads. Offline works fine. Attempted to connect Online after creating a new character Offline and loading the game. This resulted in the same permanent “connecting” loading screen and diagonal square (diamond) loading screen overlay.

This was all happening after Rollback issues locked me out of being able to access my characters. There was a level 34 mages - that was disappearing from the selection options and a level 2 that was populating. I deleted the level 2 and the level 34 appeared. But i could not connect Online. I deleted all characters - created two new online chars different classes to no avail.
