Can't join friends nor see them as online anymore

Generally, you should include:
What went wrong? I can no longer see or join friends online, they are all offline. I am offline to them. Tried restarting and relogging in steam twice

I got a login error of some sort and restarted again lol, and this seems to be working correctly again. Thanks!

It worked for a second until i tried to join a party and then it showed my friend as offline. Relogged and it’s working again.
