Me and my buddy are both new to Last Epoch, We made our online characters on 1.1 cycle on normal and added each other to friends but it shows we are both offline to each other and when we try and invite each other it says "failed to fetch party data. Anyone have suggestion on how to fix this?
The only thing I can think of is to check each of the character creation settings to make sure you also both created your characters compatible. Neither one character self-found, both on either legacy or cycle, etc.
We did check that, several times just to be sure but no matter what we do it just shows us offline and gives us the error when trying to invite each other 
I’d recommend a bug report from the ingame option so it includes your game files.
