I’m trying to add chance to shred armour on hit to this bow but it doesn’t show up in the suffixes when I put it in the crafting window even though it’s written “Can be applied to bow”.

I’m having the same issue, I cant add shred Armor to any gear. The only thing I can do is upgrade shred on gear that drops with the suffix already on it.
This is a very frustrating bug.
Stupid question but do you have any armor shred shards?
I do have the shards. It does let me put it on a Quiver, but not a Bow.
I think it is because you cannot. It’s not a bug, it’s just meant to be on your bow.
Yip. Affixes can only be applied to matching allowed items.
Its in-game in the forge small print but its easier to look on Affix Shard - Last Epoch Item Database.
You will see that shards can only be applied to certain items and other shards that can also only apply to class specific items too.
And armor shred says it can be applied to bows.

I remember reporting this a long time ago lol. I don’t know if the bug is not being able to put it on bows or the game saying that you can but either way it feels bad when you run into it the first time.
