Hello to all. I’m having an annoying problem since the last patch. I can’t change the monitor in the settings. let me explain:
I change the monitor (i have 4) then I summit the apply bottom and nothing happens. I try to log out and restart the game and the game persist on the same monitor but in the options, it’s in the last position I try to change. I try to reboot the pc after the change and the same happens. it only works if I unplugged one monitor by one until I hit the correct monitor and plug again the missing ones. any help here?

Do you have multiple graphics cards (like iGPU and discreet) handling different monitors? That might be causing the game to mess up? Guessing here.
If you only have one GPU, why dont you try editing the le_graphicsmanager.ini… I use two monitors and I have SelectedMonitor = 0 setting in mine… You could manually try changing that - not sure but I would try 0 to 3 and see if it makes any difference… no idea if this is an active setting or not…

Side thought… Are you using the standalone player or Steam? Maybe Steam is opening the app in the monitor window it is when you press play from within Steam/overrideing the games setting? maybe the standalone player would chose your monitor better? again… guessing…
well, friend changing graphicsmanager.ini didn’t help. since LE comes to steam I play there but only now do I have this problem. thank you for the tips. I hope it’s a bug or some win11 shenanigans I don’t see.

Win11… it may have some other way of handling monitors that makes it not work… I will see if I can mess aorund on Win10 to see if it does work…
Granted, I dont think many people here have 4 monitors… but I’ll see if it works on two… 
BTW… You dont have to play on Steam… once the steam account is linked to your EHG account, you can download and use the standalone player with your EHG login…
I did now see a post with another player having the same problem but with 2 monitors maybe it’s a bug indeed. let’s hope that will be fixed
about to test it myself… but patch C dropped so now I am waiting for the update…
Ok… Changing monitors with the in-game settings doesnt work in Win10 either…
- Two monitors attached to one graphics card.
- Game picks up that there is an additional monitor.
- Changing settings in-game to the other monitor prompts for a restart of the game but doesnt do it…
- Exiting and restarting the game doesnt change monitor.
- le_graphicsmanager.ini file IS updated to show the change but the game doesnt run on the different monitor.
HOWEVER… a possible workaround… If you set the game to Window mode, drag the game window to the screen you want to use and then maximise it and change it back to Borderless Window, it works and stays there for the duration of play…
I have been able to move it around successfully like this without any issues - its not as easy as changing monitors in settings would be but it works - maybe this would work for you…

thanks for the tip didn’t remember doing that trick. but its is also something EHG need to fix
