Can we have a "running button?"

Maybe a button common to all classes like “shift” or “double click”
or something, like channeling skill costing 1 mana per second to run.
Some classes don’t have mobility and the Last Epoch Maps are bigger, sometime don’t run its boring

Right now i have mad flash backs of Marvel Heroes Sprint Mechanic.

Maps in LE are not that big IMO and mobility and speed should be part of your build and no baseline function of the game.

Every class has at least 1 and some have up to 3 (Sentinel, Shield Rush, Lunge and a spec’d Smite).

Thanks to your reply, I Know how to made builds with mobility and I’m not interesting in that.
I’m just putting some suggestions to the devs.
I think the mobility button, for all classes. LE don’d need to take exemples of other games, can made your own.

To be honest, I don’t see any use/interest for a mobility button. Maps are relatively small, even the largest ones.

Ok, that a good point.

To me, it’s seems to missing something for everyone like a dash o anything.
Or just a movement button without using the skill bar.

Would that button only be usable out of combat?

I see two issues here:

  1. Theres almost no time where you are not in combat. It takes only a seconds to get to the next mob except you cleared the complete map and are at the end anyways.

  2. If it was usable during combat, it would completely imbalance the current combat system and devalue the usefulness of mobility skills.

As there are movement skills for every class, I see this as a non issue.

So you are interested in moving faster but you don’t want to use the currently implemented mechanics to move faster. Can you explain that?

Suggestion:
→ Once you have defeated a full 100% of all enemies on a map, you automatically get double the movement speed.

Otherwise, the movement speed is quite similar to various other game mechanics:
It’s used to be a thing!

To stay specifically with the movement speed:
→ There are various “trade offs” in some skill trees - for example more damage in exchange for less movement speed and the like - that should not be counteracted in any way, I think.

In a lore point of view, some classes are not supposed to be very mobile.
Lunge or Shield Rush are a bit surprising, I don’t imagine a guy with a whole armor would be able to charge. Also the Primalist is not a fast person, he’s a strong but a bit slow guy.

This, I think, is where balance trumps lore. If, for example, the Sentinel or Primalist had no movement skills they would feel significantly worse to play than the other classes. The Primalist already feels worse in that regard IMO due to the significantly longer cooldown on Fury Leap.

Agreed. And note that their movement skills are not as smooth and easy as Shift or Teleport, for example. This in my opinion is logic in a lore point of view. I can understand the need for all classes to have some mobility, but it can’t be the same for all classes. I agree: it’s the breakpoint between balance and lore.

That was I’m trying to say.

I don’t want a running “flash point” mode.
Justa a mobility button, or something like that.

Agreed, with you.
But I just think sometimes should be a little bit more about mobility and a specific button.
