No, I never said it was done. I was just pointing you to the large array of threads about this, in particular the thread with the devs commenting on it (though TBF, I could also have linked to that particular post).
WTF would I do that? Though TBH, hair grows back & I wouldn’t ask the barber for something that I didn’t want. Plus my hair is a grade 2 all over, it’s kinda hard to fuck that up…
Yes & no. Yes, as the game becomes more popular & the community grows there will be numerically more people who want this (& I don’t disagree, given the choice all my charaacters would be female but my favourite is probably the Sentinel & I don’t personally identify with the character enough for that to cause any issues). But I’d be surprised if the % of the community for whom this is a big problem changes much as it grows.
Yes, if the amount of requests for it grows they may re-prioritise it, or they may not. Or they may have gotten through enough higher priority stuff that they can get to work on it. ![]()
Because skill reworks are a fundamental thing that affects the entire game for the entire community & is more likely to grow the community. MTX provides additional revenue for them to have more resources to do stuff (including other genders for all classes). I’m sorry to say, people for whom this is a problem just aren’t a large enough part of the community & they didn’t build the game with 2 genders per class in mind so it’ll be a lot of work to retrospectively rework things to allow it to be functional.
Always appreciated. And all I was implying originally is that there’s existing threads to do that in. It’s important to you & others & that’s fine, I don’t have any problem with you/others posting about it, I’d just have rather it be in one of the existing threads…
Kinda, it depends on the player. For some, yes roleplay affects everything they do in games & that guides what games they gravitate towards (I’d imagine), but generally, for aRPGs, no, the roleplay aspect is significantly less important than the action side of things. But if you’re having fun with a particular build, does it matter why you’re having fun (as long as that fun isn’t curtailed by anything)?
Yeah, pretty much.
How so? And is it actually broken (ie, non-functional, bugged, etc) or is it just significantly less effective than others?
