Can primalist get generic minion leech?

It’s super frustrating that my spriggan dies so easy and what I’m reading is that beastmasters invest in leech for their other pets to make them survive. But all leech, in passives and items, is generic minion melee damage. I don’t have issues with my totems dying yet, but have heard that things get crazy in certain types of play I haven’t gotten to in waves/monolith. Overall I’m just going to say primalist, especially druid doesn’t feel coherent. Like it feels hard to get all the pieces working together right. Now most druids are bear form, but I believe there should be room for a spriggan/caster instead of werebear.

Yes, apparently they can:

So I can get it by equipping a lvl 4 wand? My complaint was that it wasn’t generic. I don’t think I could make a suitable build without a decent, non-lvl 4 weapon. Everything else you linked was melee minion leech.

Ok, I’ll give you that they should probably make some of that non-melee specific, though if they converted the melee leech to general minion leech they’d reduce the values somewhat, probably not much of an issue given they go up to a max of 37.5% for t7s on the chest & helm. Though to be fair, most of the primalist’s minions are melee, I think the Spriggan is the only one that’s not melee?

I’m surprised the idol isn’t general leech given the value (1%-3%).
