I’m definitely no expert here so others will most likely help better, but for a start here’s what I see to help a little.
- You are fire and cold, decide which one to focus on and go that route. As is you have to spec in both which hurts you dmg-wise.
- Use a different amulet. The Jade gives you melee and throwing benefit but you are using spells that are neither melee nor throwing. Ruby for health or brass for cast speed would be decent choices.
At level 33 you don’t really have too much to worry about but what I advised will get you a little ways.
When you have no idea what you’re doing, first step is to sit down and ask yourself questions like this:
- What do I want to do with my build? (kill bosses, clear monoliths, be immortal, a bit of everything)
- Do I prefer a fast-paced gameplay that relies on reaction speed? Or do I prefer slow and steady?
- Is there a skill I want to use? (because it looks cool, because I like how it works, other reason)
Answers to the questions will give you the idea of what you want.
I’m kind of a slow and steady paced player but with surviability… I tried a dungeon and I got destroyed and i didn’t know it kicks you out and you gotta find a new key…
The Craterborn buff in Meteor is very good for fire builds. So I’d spend my next 5 levels of Meteor in that.
Your Mage passives can drop 4 points to go into Sorc or Runemaster (Spellblade doesn’t really offer much for you). You also Specced into Cold/Frostbite passives in the Sorcerer tree.
Here’s what I would change about your current passives: https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/BGOmP32B
Some of the most powerful passives are at the end of the tree so I tend to focus on just adding 5 points at a time and seeing if the new column of passives has anything I want. In your case you’re casting the 0 mp Fireball between casts of Meteor and Volcanic Orb, so the 5 points in Runemaster will give a burst of ward and mana. You were 1 point shy of the 5-Point Bonus Ward per Second. And I moved the remaining 5 points in Sorcerer to a Fire damage buff.
Edit: since you mentioned survivability. I highly recommend speccing into Flame Ward when you get a chance. It’s the strongest defensive ability Mages get (other than Teleporting away from damage)
