This is a low priority change but it would be nice to have.
Basically, there are times when I want to go back to some campaign area, but I never remember where it is, so I end up just zooming in and out of the map in all timelines, scrolling all over the place trying to find out where it is.
So the suggestion is to simply have a list for each timeline of the known camps we’ve discovered (basically, the places where you have a stash available). Then you could click on them to focus the map on them, or right click them to port directly to them.
For example, you could want to go kill Lliath or Majasa for prophecies.
Or maybe you skipped a side quest and now want to go back to specific places to finish them.
Or maybe someone tells you about an easter egg in some part of the map and you can’t find it.
There could be several reasons for this. Most aren’t too important or pressing. Which is why I said it would be low priority.
But I see no downside in this and only possible upsides. Especially for newer players.
That doesn’t help me if I want to search for Yulia’s Haven, though, since I have no idea what area it is or even what timeline it is.
I use Yulia’s Haven because I have in the past wanted to go back to it to (I think to trigger a passive point side quest?) and I had to scour the map in all timelines looking for it.
This is a good idea. Better yet is we have our own hideout like in POE. But failing that, I think a good middle ground would be making one zone in the game private (ie you don’t see other players). Best place for this would be the End of Time. Then you could also give use back training dummies there, which are sorely missed.
For many reasons. You want more privacy than the end of time or bazaar. Or you like the layout better. Or the scenery.
Yeah I know what he means, 250 hours I’ve put in since March 19th and during that time made probably 30 alts possibly more and ran the whole campaign daily ( I love the campaign runs ) and still couldn’t always remember where things like Cultist Camp were at times so you zoom right in to find a spot but have to do it per zone per area as when you click on one up top it defaults to zoomed out. While its zoomed out you see the area and not portal spots within.
A list would be nice or even once you’ve marked a portal zone with a stash / respec it shows on the map even when it’s zoomed out?
Anything would be helpful TBH - specially when they hopefully add even more campaign story for losers like me to level til 85-90 in rather than doing that in echoes haha
It doesn’t matter what reasons. But anyways try thinking for yourself you can come up with some easily. One simple one: People finding it annoying seeing other chars and their mtx.
Yeah but there is plenty to be desired in that zone. Firstly, it’s in a god-awful position. Different time zone and position on map than End of Time. Second, it’s got at crappy layout. Third, the minimap there is bugged (been so for awhile). Fourth, the scenery there sucks.
