Bugged login screen

I tried to login to the game today after the patch came in, and whether I start the game from the desktop icon or from Steam dashboard, it is giving me a bugged login screen that has no login options at all, just an empty chatbox in the corner.

Any fix advice would be welcome! Being unable to play sucks :frowning:

Ok this sort of fixed itself by verifying integrity of Steam game files, which failed to verify 8 files and re-downloaded them. Still, worth documenting.
