Hiya Gil, whatâs the problem - itâs hard to tell from that video, can you describe it so I can try help ya out?
If it is about the 10% Increased Cooldown Recovery Speed:
It indeed looks like a bug, it should grant you the 10%. The 1x3 idol on the right side is above and smaller than the other two 4x1 idols.
The altar tooltip says:
10% Increased Cooldown Recovery Speed if there are no larger idols above smaller ones in the grid
An idol is considered larger than another if it takes up more squares of the grid. An idol is considered above another idol in the grid if its top left corner is closer to the top of the inventory.
Oh I didnt even see that 10% go poof lmao
Itâs above depending on their idea of above - if itâs lines from bottom to top then its bottom 1x1 is on the same line as the 4x1 meaning the smaller ones on the same line as that bottom 4x1 (so not below, even with) and itâs actually below the next 4x1 in the middle slot which is why it suddenly went poof when you slotted that second one into the line.
Measuring this by line seems silly and I use the same layout youâre using on mine I just personally dont need the CDR on my build so Iâve never noticed because I guess it didnât matter. I reckon they should change it. I think on one of my other builds I have 3 1x1s on the right as well.
Great spotting and def +1 for them to change it. Probably tons of players who never noticed this during the season.
that doesnât make sense at all - even if they compare line by line why compare the second line (second 1x4 idol) with 1st line (1x1 lower part of 1x3 idol)?? thatâs weird
they should compare idols as a whole item no by its 1 x 1 parts. it counterintuitive
This is a bug. The description for the altar clearly states that the square that counts is the âtop leftâ one. This means that the configuration shown in the video should have been a valid one.
Report with the bug report tool in-game.
Yeah man I agree itâs a stupid for the idols special affix. I use the idol for warpath and erasing strike mostly and neither of those need CDR cos theyâre unskilled easy mode skills.
Technically I guess they are right though anything touching that bottom line counts as being on the bottom so anything next to it would be fine but as soon as you go above that itâs above⌠lame though.
