The radius is very small so you have to be very careful to click exactly on it, and it takes that extra bit of time which can be enough to drop some stacks e.g. Maelstrom, etc
Welcome to another episode reason why auto pickup shards is a must, everything is just a visual clutter too with the introduction of skeleton army event and loot lizards.
And even as for non-shards, I totally experience this, it takes me sometimes 3-5 freaking clicks to pick up an item and my character just walks towards it like a freaking idiot even I didn’t even missclick it.
Welcome to LE’s atrocious clicking, where it’s the most infuriating among all ARPGs in the market!!! And in case you’re wondering, here’s someone explaining it why players may fail to pick up an item.
Or just give us “pick up item” hotkey already. It’s so seamless on controller and probably the best thing in using a controller. I don’t see a reason why PC version shouldn’t have this feature too. It’s not like this hotkey I’m requesting is gonna pick up everything on the entire screen in one press of the button. Of course we still need to move close to the item we want to pick up.
That’s because Lizards and Undeads are exactly the same mistake: there are way too many of them. They are both good ideas, ruined by overabundance.
IMO, a special event mob, or a rare encounter, SHOULD be quite strong, and drop a lot of stuff. That’s why it’s a special event. But they SHOULDN’T be in absolutely every map, in huge numbers, or they become not special at all and just plain annoying.
Of course, twice the same mistake in a row probably means that it is not a mistake at all, but a conscious design choice that doesn’t fit what I like in a game.
Disappointing, but not a big deal.
While I think the acid traps from transfusion caskets and archers still hurts a crap ton, some feels like deals no damage at all. Well, my character is like 90% gear completion–max resists, 3.8k HP, 60% endurance and around 800 endurance threshold, constantly spinning via warpath so immune to stuns (Idk if this is tanky enough in today’s standards), and i stepped on one acid trap and it killed me in milliseconds. But I can’t say much as I’ve only played 1 character/build on this event.
What I like about it is it literally increased the mob density which I think should’ve been the norm to begin with (Talking about mob density in general), and should’ve been the standard. But I agree with you, “special” ain’t special anymore if it’s literally like a lot of them in the same monolith echo. I started ignoring some loot lizard too especially if they’re somehow far away. I noticed that these skeleton army just drops pretty much the same stuff as lizards too. They could’ve dropped something special instead that you can’t get from anywhere else.
