Why did you remove full offline mode? without any announcement? Please bring it back.
Please don’t reply about steam full offline mode button. that button does nothing(in the sense that it launches the same as normal online mode).

That’s what the “play offline” button in-game is for. It allows you to play offline (without chat or anything like that, I’m currently having login issues but I can play using this).
NO. That was not how fully offline worked before. stop making excuses. If you are not connected to internet, offline play essentially won’t even work. season mechanics don’t work, you can’t banish nemesis, and your portal doesn’t function so you can’t actually do monos.

That’s not what I said.
Previously, to access “true offline” you’d need to choose that option in the LE startup options in steam. You can still do this (I can see the option in steam for LE & it works fine). As @DJSamhein said in a different thread you can now apparently access “true-ish” offline mode without having to go into the steam options & this does appear to have the issues that you say (portals not functioning). But they do still work (portals at least, that was all I really got to try this morning before going to see my kids) in the “true offline” mode. So I don’t get why you would make the assertion that EHG have removed full/true offline mode when they demonstrably haven’t.
I’ve submitted an in-game bug report about the portals not working.
The offline mode via the regular client is currently bugged when you don’t have internet connection. They’ve acknowledged that already and are working on fixing it.
Once it’s fixed, it seems like the offline client will work as both false and true offline. If you have internet connection you can use chat (or you can disable it, even with internet) and you can use the bug report tool, which is what the false offline did. If you don’t have internet connection then you will play the game normally as the previous true offline.
This seems to be what they intend for offline. A single client for both online and offline and if you disable chat and don’t submit bugs you don’t connect to their servers either, even with internet.
