Bow physical builds are pathetic

I want to make a physical build around flurry and puncture but that’s next to impossible. Also multishot damage reduction and fall off range is way to harsh for the shotgun build. The real issue is scaling physical damage because the only way to get added bow damage is from the bow and quiver.
Makes zero sense, you can get added melee and added throw damage in multiple spots which makes scaling it a breeze. You should be able to get added bow damage in all the same spots as throw and melee. It’s sad I can’t make a good bow physical build but my throw, melee and falconry physical based builds are insanely strong. Anyway I can get some feedback from a dev on this?

Gotta agree on this one. I’ve been trying my hardest to build a physical bow build and just am feeling like I’m hitting a wall on damage options. There just aren’t enough places to put more bow damage if you’re doing a physical build. It doesn’t seemed balanced for us bow rogues.

I’ve found bow armor shred on helm and physical penetration on amulet to be impactful. Also making sure to pick up all the flat damage on the passive tree and targeting ‘More’ nodes on the skill tree.

More love would be great! But also it’s own puzzle that’s been kind of fun trying to solve.

It’s peanuts compared to the sheer amount of flat damage you can get on throwing or melee though.

Definetely agree with this one. I know there is a “bow-mage” build, that utilizes Reign of Winter bow, but if I wanted to play frost mage, I’d pick Sorcerer at the starting screen.

I WANT TO PLAY RANGED BOW, EHG!

I agree and will upvote ya, but hey: at least the Marksman mastery + bows exist lmao. Falconer has a couple things for creating a Spear-Rogue, which seems super cool, but there are no spears that benefit the archetype at all :sob:

Exactly. Rouge and physical damage just seem to fit better together to me.
