Gold sellers are now spamming chat. This, of course, means botting systems are in full effect.
Playbase cannot zone due to servers. Servers are likely full of bots. Trade ruined the launch of this game. Sad, as the game is fun. But a bot fest and p2w through 3rd party sites are now the staples.
Yeah havent seen any either. In any case, trading is vital to keep a community in ARPG games over long time. This and global chat is the reason poe for example has been successful over so many years. D4 will die very fast if they do not implement both. I will rather have to block a few sellers than have no global chat or trade systems any day.
I prefer ssf. Donât care for trading. Bots and RMT will always be a problem, though. the developers are going to have to just fight it the best they can.
I have rank 5.5 in fortune cycle so Fortunately this does not affect my playstyle.
I wanted to avoid all the pitfalls that come with server wide trading and broken economies due to player driven markets and bot farmers.
If the global trade system ever proves to be fair or something I need to achieve, for a specific item I just absolutely canât get on my own, then maybe.
I can confirm there have been post to RMT in global chat.
There was a person in chat spamming a gold selling site last night while i was playing. I already reported it to EHG with in game reporting. As well as put the link in the report.
Wont stop the site from operating it will how over help EHG be aware of it.
U can also just google buy last epoch gold theres already sites up and running for RMT.
Seeing it in chat isnt bad yet. But seeing RMT links in game is already happening
you wont get rid of RMT ever. i mean, its a whole business of its own. all any company can do is try to close any duping methods and do proper ban waves. that being said, it still wont kill rmt.
There is virtually no RMT in D3. Iâve never even seen gold spam. The only thing thatâs tradeable is loot within a party so outside of leveling boosts, which players offer for free, thereâs nothing to buy. The game has had a playerbase for 10+ years, albeit a small one for lack of content. If Blizzard had started a cosmetic shop and offered expansions I suspect the game would still be going strong.
I actually quit PoE when they started with trading. The gold spam started, bots appeared, and the âgame to easyâ idiots who bought all their 6-links and rare gems started their whining. Thatâs the point at which GGG abandoned their vision and it was sad to see. I think itâs a real shame EHG didnât stick to their guns and instead opened the game to botting and RMT.
Nah. RNG loot is an awful, unfun trope in this genre, and trade is what makes dealing with it tolerable.
Half of GGGâs visions for their game are stupid, and abandoning them is usually a good idea. I wouldâve quit both POE and this game if trade werenât a thing.
The existence of spammers in the chat is more than just that; it implies that there are people attempting to steal accounts because they hold value, as occurred in Diablo 3, and people attempting to steal credit cards related to the game. This shouldnât exist, and drastic measures should be taken against it, but itâs never done, which is a shame.
at least we can hide global chat, a must have fix we ask for over 1 year.
Last epoch is not a competitive game, its an arpg with completely meaningless ladder. There is no p2w in the game either as there is nothing in the game that you can only buy for money.
The fact that you are playing a game constantly comparing yourself to others is the only sad part in all of this.
What kind of a putz buys gold in this game and why? If you play at all you earn it faster than you need it and thereâs no reason to spend it early game
