Boss DoT Effects remain indefinitely after boss kill

So I just killed the dragon in Empowered Reign of Dragons and bc I use Warpath skill, everytime I hit the boss it moves towards the edges of the direction I’m hitting him from, and thus, most of times I have killed this boss was on the dangerous edges where the Blood-draining DoT Protrusions occur more and more towards the middle of the arena as the boss fight endures. I can see how these Blood DoT Boss Protrusions remaining long after the boss dies might prevent players from safely collecting their loot, as in this instance I had to use 2 potions to grab a key and a unique drop. Luckily my build has over 200% chance to find potions on gear so had some extra potions lying around the arena, but not everyone would have that luxury per se, if they hapened to be out of potions and no potions on the ground, and their loot was smack dab in the middle of this nonsensical monstrosity of boss DoT mechanic that never ends:

Perhaps it would be a wise decision to go over such boss encounters and their after-death effects and give those enduring DoT mechanics an expiration so ppl can enjoy the fruits of their labour? :smiley:

Feedback, not a bug (I think). That said, those DoT pools are a % of current health not a % of max hp so they can’t kill you.
