I like the new rift beasts and primordial things, really nice add. I like the build focus’s, for me its abomination.
The crafting system is still crud, Unless its near perfect already its basically dont waste your time. Havocs are good, redemption is a fun gamble, ascendancy is another fun gamble, but all of these are just that a gamble not crafting. The rest of it has been absolute junk since the changes in beta .8. Beta.7 best actual crafting system ever, current is one of the lowest.
The corruption grind has got me insanely bored. Why, because ive done this stuff for 2000+ hours already and im just utterly sick of doing 20 insanely easy mono’s just to have to do another 20 insanely easy mono’s just to do another 20 insanely easy mono’s just to another 20 insanely easy mono’s and i could repeat that another 1000 times.
Basically the seasonal reset system that blizzard implinented with diablo 3 to save money only worked because A, it was the only game at the time, and B, it only took 15 minutes to get back to where you left off last season. People still didnt like it but developers base success on player count but failed to take in the fact it had NO competition until Marvel Heroes and then diablo 3 bled players fast until blizzard [aid disney to cancel the liscense,
In short, its a good game, done well with epoch last season and this one after the disastrous beta .8 changes, but i feel like im on auto repeat. Thanks for the fun.
Rebithing a character was added in season 5 which was 2016 & that was a bit over 2 years after PoE hit 1.0. But I’m pretty sure PoE’s a very niche game that never had much success & will be dieing off any time soon now.
'k, you might want to make sure that tin foil hat doesn’t slip off.
Yeah. Despite monos being similar to PoE’s maps, I don’t get why this feels more tedious, especially if we compare it to the original maps in PoE. It’d help if there were more content/stuff to do.
Pretty much & that’s why I’m bored by the time I get to empowered monos.
very hard disagree there. so many players complained about the old crafting system with FP where you could fracture your item.
do you remember how the old system was before the change. its miles better than it was before
seasonal reset didnt start with D3 that would be D2. D3 started the seasonal specific content stuff. resets every few months in D2 case 6 months was started with D2
I agree. There are soooo many builds in this. I don’t even pay attention to the ones listed on places like MaxRoll. Do something creative with your builds and try to make it work. That’s the exciting part. I did a weird sword-based FG and it was fun. Did I tear through content? No. Did I have to farm to get what I needed to get the build past 300 corruption? Yes. The “copy/paste build and rush” method is probably going to leave you bored. Out of all of this, I think EH needs to get to work on achievements in steam and in game. Titles, auras, and other stuff won through challenges keeps people playing. I wanted a birb pet in D4 and I spent a long time getting it. Embarrassingly long. D4 isn’t even that great, lol.
Nope, that would be PoE back in 2013. D3 season 1 started late August 2014 & introduced legendary gems & a bunch of other stuff but it didn’t have an actual season mechanic like we are used to now.
To me, it is because each map in PoE is manually designed. They each have their own atmosphere, I enjoy exploring the layout of all of them and seeing who lives there.
While echoes in LE feel entirely random (mostly because they are), and have no soul. Just the same layouts I have seen in the campaign with random monsters, sometimes (often) entirely unadapted to the environment they suddenly pop in.
That is of course a very personal take. But that is why I get bored way, way faster in LE than in PoE.
