Quick question. I know Bone Curse cannot apply ailments (as it is an ailment and thus cannot apply other ailments), but given that it can apply Bleed with Cloven Flesh on its passive tree, does anyone know if the damage nodes in its skill tree boost those bleeds? I’ve tested it in game and damage nodes don’t appear to be boosting bleeds from Bone Curse.
They do, yes, as long as they don’t specify hit damage.
Maybe my damage isn’t high enough to be showing a difference on the dummy then, because I have every damage node in Bone Curse and the Bleed ticks are still 25-29 and never going higher than that.
I can’t remember the base damage per tick for bleed and I’m on my way in to work.
Have you tried applying a bleed from a non-specialised skill and comparing the damage per tick?
Base Bleed is 53 over 3 seconds, so roughly 17 a second.
I just tested with an unspecced Harvest. The damage per tick is 28-30, which is about what I was getting with a specialized Bone Curse. None of the damage nodes in Bone Curse are applying to its bleed, because if they were, the ticks would be at least double that if not more.
