Going on run #7 in empowered Black Sun and still have not seen Void Res. Look, I don’t care if I get the bottom roll. Let the rolls inside the blessing be random, but this random blessing thing is absolute shit. Level 97 on this character at the moment and still have never seen the Void Res blessing. I have no other reason to be farming in this timeline.
I don’t know that easier/guaranteed is necessarily better. The thing I love about this style of game is RNG and the chase. Even if frustrating at times - embracing the grind is addictive That said, based upon the most recent Dev stream, they do intend on making all discovered blessings hot swappable in the next major patch which will be a nice QoL edition to the game.
RNG should not be part of character building. RNG is for loot. That’s what this game is. Why don’t we also randomize if you get a skill point when you level up. That how ridiculous this seems to me. I farm for gear that I need that I cannot even put on because I am blocked by needing a Void Res stat that a blessing should be giving me.
By the way, that run #7 and still no blessing. 1 more and this gets turned off, probably for the league since this is my 4th character and farming for a blessing has turned me sour real fast.
There are at least 3 topics with the same topic open right now, one is only 4 hours old.
Sorry forum police. I don’t live on here. I’ll post what I feel like, after all, I paid just like you. Don’t like it, move along.
Don’t be rude.
Heavy is giving legit advice… If you’re bothered by this, you should better voice along other people who have voiced it already. The odds of Devs listening to a crowd is much bigger than listening to multiple individuals.
I do like the discussion. I do care alot and because of that exact reason I am trying to steer things into a direction that makes it more enjoyable for everybody.
If you would have paid attention to these topics you would see that I commented on on of them.
Because I absolutely love discussion ideas and feedback.
But it is beyond me, why new people come to a platform from their game, that they seem to care enough about, to spend their time doing a forum or feedback post, without looking for similar discussions about that said topic, before posting a new thread.
It diludes the quality of feedback in each individual thread and makes it way harder for other people to find good elongated discussions
Well, its official 9 out of 10 doctors agree grinding is an addictive hobby.
That’s my bad Heavy. I was just pretty pissed at grinding Void Res so I could use my upgrades. Anyway, I got 71% on my 12th run. That’d done!
Back to the topic at hand. I usually scan the front page. Anything more is buried and long gone. With the ridiculous amount of Nerf Warlock threads/Ward threads, I didn’t even bother to check. For the record, my forum date is the only thing new. I’ve been here quite a long time but never bothered to post until the game was getting ready to come out. To be honest, I’m surprised I was even able to migrate my old account to steam since it’s been that long since I played.
Also, I take the opposite view. The more posts, the more Devs tend to pay attention. It’s easier to dismiss 1 post with 100’s of views over 100’s of posts.
