When I allocate the Blademaster passive I get no bonus attack speed on the character sheet nor a dps increase in skill tooltips. Removing the point causes the attack speed bonus to be applied until you unequip your weapon.
What passive are you referring to?
The Sentinel Blademaster passive.
This is just a visual bug, it is giving attack speed per point.
