Black screen after launch the game

Hi,
At yesterday I bought the game and it worked correctly but today I tried run again and I hear sound but the screen is black. I reinstalled steam and game and still the same problem. I using Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS. I attach log file for more details:
Player-prev.log (183.1 KB)
Player.log (175.2 KB)
le_graphicsmanager.ini (479 Bytes)

I analyzed the logs and I found that the error still repeat:

DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL ‘LogitechLedEnginesWrapper’: The specified module could not be found.

but IDK how to solve it.

I found other error

ERROR: ld.so: object ‘/home/user/.steam/debian-installation/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so’ from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32): ignored.

I ran:

file /home/user/.steam/debian-installation/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so

and I got response:

/home/user/.steam/debian-installation/ubuntu12_32/gameoverlayrenderer.so: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked, BuildID[sha1]=7d32365c10160d738f6ff37775c44d963201828d, not stripped

It’s not a problem with a game:

you can safely ignore it. It is not really any error: Steam includes both 64- and 32-bit versions of some libraries and only one version will load successfully. This “error” is displayed even when Steam (and the in-game overlay) is working perfectly.

Thanks a lot

I solved my problem. I switched the compatibility steam from Steam Linux Runtime to Proton 7.0-2.

Thanks for posting this solution.

Some added things to mention that could affect your play…

  1. You are only using a GTX 1660 Ti and based on the state of the game and its known performance related issues/instability, I would not recommend running the game with the settings you are using - i.e. Ultra with everything on/maxed… I would not recommend this for Windows users using a 1660 Ti and considering feedback from other Linux users specifically about performance issues on that platform, I would definitely recommend that you take a more conservative approach to in-game settings for the sake of stability/performance… imho, dropping to High would make very little difference to the visuals in the heat of play but it would defintely improve other things. The key is that you should prevent LE from maxing out either your CPU/GPU for any extented time… Up to you obviously…

  2. The LogitechLedEnginesWrapper is related to having one of the Logitech Keyboards and the game controlling the RGB lighting. If you do have one, I am not sure how / if the Linux drivers will support this. I would recommend that you make sure that the Logitech keyboard option is disabled in the game settings…
