Started to notice this last night. If you are rearranging your inventory, trying to sell items, scrap items or just flat out drop them, Occasionally it would equip them in place of what I was wielding. Caught it the few times it happened last night. Happened again this evening and ended up selling off half my gear I was using and now have equipped a bunch of useless rares. if there is a way to send my character back a few hours that would be terrific. Otherwise, probably consider my seasonal time over because that is just fkn brutal.
(On Controller) Hmm since that hotfix today if I press X to drop an item in my inventory it equips the item I wanted to drop, and instead drops the item I had equipped.
Had a few confirmations of the issue since the hotfix today that included the controller crash fix when interacting with āsomeā object I donāt remember what it was.
So to clarify, if I only press X on the item in my inventory I want to drop. It instead drops the equipped item of the same type and equips the one I was trying to drop.
This is multiple actions with 1 button press Iāve reset my bindings with controller, and with keyboard. I was wondering why my stats lowered randomly.
I am using an xbox controller and whenever I have just the inventory open, pressing A/X to drop or move items will first equip them and then perform the action with the item that was previously equipped instead.
I just started having the same issue as well. Iām having the dual action happening if I try to drop an item or even select it in my inventory. It does not happen when moving items back and forth with your stash, forge, or a vendor.
Sorry boys itās good to see Iām not alone but I also understand how frustrating it is. I spent a good 20 minutes yesterday trying to get rid of a random axe in my inventory before just giving up and letting it sit there
Oh myā¦ Just tested again today. Not only if you try to drop something from your inventory will it unequip what you are wearingā¦ It will swap affixes lol. BE VERY FKN CAREFUL CHANGING ANY GEAR OUT RIGHT NOW
