Better quest overview

Hi guys!

It would be good if the quest overview had more extensive information - one of the main that I find lacking is the era of the quest. Especially in early game, I always had to check each of them and be like “aw shit which era is the quest in”, or after a logout when it logs me back in the End of time

Also, for the sake of preparation, being able to filter the quests/seeing them sorted by, for example “Passive points”/“Idol inventory” could really be great.

A few minor; seeing the PNJ that offered the quest, the steps already achieved,…

Cheers!

(open thread if anyone wants to contribute! just throwing some ideas i have on the go)

I agree, to an extent, the main map offers some of this (it’ll show you what era you have active quests in & highlight the zone you need to go to), but it would be nice to be able to see what & an icon for the reward on the quest overview (you can see more info on the quest log, J by default).

++ agreed

probably become even more neccessary to have these kinds of quest & map quality of life improvements when they include even more content to have to deal with… compounding the issues.

For me personally theres already enough quest infos.

I hit “m”, click on the way points that have a “?” on it and follow the arrows on the map after the loading screen. How much easier could it be?

Imho there are way to few quests to be filtered. At the end you’ll need to complete them all, because they either give passive points or idol slots. Also you don’t get them all at once so you need to figure out which quest to do in what order. Instead you get them one after the other and can easily complete them in the same order you get them.

While I agree on some points, some people will just stack the secondary quests and rush the main one, to then complete all of those secondary. Filtering could come in handy in that situation

Also, true, the map does have information if you hover the proper place but the map itself is NOT at a quality where we can enjoy using it. The navigation is unnecessary slow, and you still have to find where exactly the quest is pointing to.

Lastly, this is a thread about a quest overview enhancement - the quest menu is lacking, and even if the map get improvements, the quest menu could also benefits from some imo

You say that, but they don’t, some (18 if tunklabs is correct) only give xp/gold.

I knew that I would get this exact answer from you :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

There are 7 sidequests that only give XP/Gold. The rest are main quests. I would not say that you could skip main quests and do it in a different order.
