Better physics via Havok physics for Unity

Ongoing project for polishing and performance etc. Just putting it here that Havok physics came in into Unity. Not sure if that helps with better combat feel improvements.

Looks like its supported in the Unity version that LE uses (2019.4.40f1) so maybe there is some reason that the devs decided against it. A quick google shows that Havok was introduced in Unity 2019.3 so maybe by then the EHG Devs had already gone another route and decided not to change.

Might be similar reasons to other requests that are only supported in newer versions of Unity (like DLSS etc) that the devs have said it would take too much time to migrate LE to a new version of Unity to support it. If I recall, Mike said that its not an impossible thing to do, but definitely not before the game is released and even then perhaps not for some time after.

Good points! Also i understanded that it was ”preview” state and couple months ago it was released ”fully production” state.

I’m pretty sure devs are checked this option and made choices about it. But wanted to put it in here in case it isn’t checked out.
