Let me start off first and foremost by saying that this is not a troll post. I am not suggesting this for any other reason then my personal benefit, though I believe it would benefit the community as a whole.
I genuinely believe that the available cosmetics in the shop are ass. I wish there was a better way to say it but that’s the truth. I am not a fan of any of the supporter packs or anything included in the bigger editions, which is why I didn’t buy them. And while getting the OST is nice, there is really only a song or two I’d throw $$$ down for.
If you add more to the shop or make more compelling cosmetics, I will happily pay for them. This is a sentiment shared by my entire gaming group so I can only imagine other people feel the same. Some of the cosmetics just left me scratching my head.
For example - The Soul Eater cosmetics. I know the ‘kids’ nowadays like to use the word ‘drip’ (god do I feel old right now…) but you couldn’t pay me to wear armor that looks like a leaky faucet. I do not get the design choice behind this entire set.
I’m currently leveling a Bladedancer. There are 2 cosmetics I’d consider - both of which are hoods with no other matching armor pieces. So I’m sitting here trying to reason with myself to buy these items while also acknowleding that it won’t match with anything else I’m currently wearing due to no transmog feature.
Hell, you could sell the ability to remove your helmet and I’d probably buy it. I do think transmog will be a thing later down the road but man I just want my character that I’m spending hours with to look decent at some point during this game. Please take this feedback to heart.
I want to buy cosmetics. I want to give you guys money and support you. I’m enjoying the hell out of this game. Offer me items that are compelling enough for me to want to buy. That is all I am asking - just for some pretty pixels
I get it, everyone wants to die with style.
But I think there are other priorities atm. The cheating kind already kept them unnecessarily busy. And there are still some bugs that need fixing.
I´m sure they do their best and personally I dont mind if the shop doesnt change for a while. Game is too much fun for me, even without cosmetics.
Everyone has an opinion. I have lots of owned cosmetics that I use on various characters, I enjoy them all. I also bought that soul eater you don’t like. I’m pretty happy with what I have so far.
Oh, I get it. The house is on fire - there isn’t time to talk about the flooring choices. But its a legitimate concern. I’ve grown tired of seeing my character wear whatever mismatch outfit gives the best benefits.
Hey, you do you. I can respect your will to cosplay Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Myself, I’d like something that actually looks like a thief for my Bladedancer. I’m tired of having this discount shredder helmet on my head.
They have to prioritise it and have a separate design team for it, which they probably have already. This is the way how they can earn money in the future and keep working on new content.
The cosmetics in the shop are actually not impressive at all. In game doesn’t look that bad, I have the earlier access cosmetics with the tree teleport, but when you open the shop window… they are all ugly. I would love to spend my money on cosmetics, I have hundreds of them in Poe, but LE design need some serious change, (and how they show us in the shop) to make me spend more money
It is a legitimate concern. Just because you don’t think so doesn’t change the matter.
I have seen plenty of games live and die due to monetization. Me saying I want to actually support them with proper cosmetics speaks volumes of my support for this game.
If they want to earn money, they really have to do something. Rogue needs dark shady stuff, not running around like carnival . For a dark assassin creed outfit, I would pay some bucks.
